About Jim's Custom Firearms LLC

I am the owner/operator of Jim's Custom Firearms LLC. JCF is a firearms retailer and custom AR builder specializing in AR15 platforms of all types including breakdown AR pistols and custom Cerakote finishes. I am a USMC veteran and served in Vietnam.

 

After leaving the Marine Corps I worked in corporate business until I retired in 2018. Because of my firearms training in the Marine Corps, I have always enjoyed building and shooting firearms, especially those built around the AR platform.

 

In late 2020 I decided to open my own firearms business so I could create and build one of a kind custom AR rifles and pistols for my customers. In 2021 I developed the very special Gun-in-a-Box. Now in its third generation, this is a break down AR Pistol available in 5.56/.223, .300BLK and 9MM. Because of its compact size it has become very popular and has become a mainstay for JCF.
